The site (Cyrn-y-Brain, IO83JA) used by GW3TCU/P in the 4m trophy 2004. The BT microwave installation close by didn't give us any trouble but the Band II broadcast station 500m away raised the noise floor considerably if we beamed SW. This site was used on 4m extensively in the 80's and 90's but access is difficult now due to the high level of security and the extremely poor condition of the track! This year Phil made 120 QSOs: clear evidence of an upward trend in activity on 4m.
