Placing an ad
When you post an ad please make the "subject" descriptive, i.e. please write
- "W: the description" for wanted ads
- "FS: the description" for sales ads

Just writing "Wanted" or "For sale" and noting else makes it difficult for readers to grasp at a quick glance. Also having 100 ads just showing "Wanted" or "For sale" in the subjects is nonsense.

Much better to write "W: 25 W PA" or "FS: Storno CQF 632."

When bought/sold ...
When your ad is no longer relevant, i.e. sold or bought, please change the subject of the first post to "Please delete" or delete the entire thread yourself.

Doing so saves a lot of time when performing the necessary house cleaning as we don't have to open all posts. Typically ads are deleted when they are more than one year old.
