WE9XUP now QRT...

The WE9XUP beacon on 70.005MHz is now QRT as the license has now expired. I would like to again thank the US TV Broadcasters and the FCC OET for permitting a US TA 4m beacon to operate during the summer months of 2011. More DX reports were logged this year than in 2010. Any possible operations in 2012 will require permission from the two aformentioned organizations as well as logistics on my end.

I want to thank each and every one who did copy or tried to copy the beacon from both NA and the EU. This year's best best DX was better than in 2010!!!

Again, many thanks from me (the licensee) and to you for aiding investigation into TA Es on 4m. The higher goal is confirmed TA DX with the sister 2m beacon on 144.285MHz!
