yes almost done 4m isa great band in summer and i like au too bit mor power from this 150w pa will be usefull i have a ukraine tx verter 2 w to drive it ta ta for now

dutch rf shop quite cheap for the kit gives 150w out or will when complete :D

The price for the amplifier looks remarkably low.

If you are aiming to use a Ukraine transverter to drive it, you might want to check first with a spectrum analyser to make sure that it is set up correctly.

I recently looked at one of those transverters for a friend. He said that it was supplied ready-built by the manufacturer, but there appeared to be a lot of out-of-band spurs, possibly caused by non-linearity somewhere, even when the input was turned down to run only 100 milliwatts. If you put that into a big amplifier it might make you a little unpopular, so worth looking at.

I wonder what you have used for the switching?

What sort of bias is required for SSB ? guessing circa 500mA?
